I specialise in the political economy of the Middle East, with a particular focus on how states navigate geopolitical pressures, pursue economic transformation, and shape long-term development strategies across the GCC.
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Economics, with academic training spanning macroeconomics, econometrics, international political economy, and the use of economic policy tools in government decision-making. This analytical foundation allows me to translate complex regional dynamics into clear, decision-ready insights for organisations, drawing on political-economy frameworks, policy analysis, and macro-financial indicators to assess regional risk and opportunity.
My work is especially focused on the political and economic drivers shaping the GCC as they undergo rapid structural change — from diversification strategies and state-led investment to regional competition and external geopolitical risk.
